Ralph Appelbaum Associates invited me to work in-house over a three month period on an Interpretation Plan commissioned by LLDC for the Legacy phase of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. I worked with a core team of people including content developers, a landscape designer and a graphic designer to create the Interpretation Plan which took the form of a publication. I produced a series of illustrations to illuminate key aspects of the plan and to weave a narrative into the publication as a whole.
I also worked on the concept development throughout the project. It's so exciting that forward-thinking companies such as RAA are employing illustrators to not only visualise design concepts but to also employ them to come up with the concepts as well.
